Research Focus
In my PhD research I explore the evolutionary mechanisms at the intersection of behavior, neurobiology, and genetics. Working in the Sandkam Lab, I investigate the proximate and ultimate mechanisms underlying intrasexual diversity in the livebearing tropical fish Poecilia parae. My research focuses on intraspecific sperm competition dynamics and epigenetic developmental trajectories.
