Research Focus

I study information networks in a population of Black-throated Blue Warblers at the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest. I am broadly interested in how animals survey their social environments, so I use a combination of bioacoustic and radio-telemetry methods to track the different information channels birds use. As part of both NBB and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, I also help to run the Cornell Field Ornithology Program by training Cornell undergraduates to become avian biologists each summer at Hubbard Brook.
