Overview

Andres graduated with a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Los Andes, Colombia. He is passionate about playing table tennis, traveling, and computational neuroscience. His research has focused on dynamical systems for multiscale brain models, in particular, he worked with a spinal cord interneuron model and whole-brain models of traveling waves during sleep. For his PhD, he aims to continue studying sleep dynamics and memory consolidation processes.
